Switzerland

Switzerland has a very mature wine industry and is both a large importer as well as producer, given its relatively small size. The Swiss are very loyal to their own local wines, yet don’t pretend better things aren’t available around them. Most Swiss wines are light, dry, spritzy, and delicate, but fuller-bodied reds and mildly sweet rosé is also produced.
